Something something something...

I've had some stuff in the works for ST and the website in general, some were good, some were...eh

but the point of this news post isn't to rant about nosense, it's to ask if anyone has any good ideas for things to include on the site or things to improve on!

think the bios page is fail?
did you make fanart you wanted to be featured?
needs more cowbell?

Well, now's your chance to tell me! You can tell me either by replying to this newspost itself, or by sending me a PM if you want your idea to stay private, and I'll be sure to reply to each idea personally and individually, so you have an idea? tell me, it's for the good of ST, nay, the world!...ok, not really...

Heated Delay

Alright, I'm not working on ST this week, Our Air Conditioning has died and so it's gotten to be oppressingly hot in my house, and that's not an environment good for working, so I'll be holding ST off until conditions are more bearable.

I just thought I'd let you all know why it is that I haven't updated, and I'm sure anyone who's tried to work or sleep when it's 90+ degrees in your house can understand how difficult it is.

Thanks for understanding everyone.

Summer Job!

Ok, if any of you know me or live in my area, you know how hard it is for a 16 year old to get a job.

Well, GREAT NEWS!

I JUST GOT HIRED TO BE AN ART TEACHER FOR THE SUMMER!

It's only a summer job, but it'll look great on a resume, plus, it's an awesome feeling getting hired as an art teacher at 16!

I'll be working at the George Kaizar Stuido of Art, so be sure to drop in and say hi if you're in the area!

MONIES FOR ME!

In other news:

I recently found a copy of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes at a local video rental place, and bought it for only $25. This is my first time getting into a Metal Gear game since the NES, so it was a new experience, and let me say, it was an enjoyable one!

I highly recommend it if only to witness the Psycho Mantis battle, which was an experience in itself! As a whole though, the game delivers, and if I owned a playstation 2, I'd be sure to pick up the sequals .

Also, I hacked a PSP and put a ton of awesome games on it, that means more inspiration for ST :D

Creative junk:

I downloaded the Spore Creature Creator a few days ago, and I love it. It's easy to use and I found it to be a great source of inspiration for designing new creatures, I'll be using it to help me with an upcoming ST issue, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled, I plan on having a reward for the first person to say "SPORE!" when I upload the comic (it's going to be hard to call, I'm going to redesign the monster using Spore as a base)

Wow! Almost a record!

well folks, after a 9 comic - no guest comic streak, I have to upload a work not my own...I know, sad faces all around.

you see, tomorrow night is my prom, and despite the fact that I'm a dude, there's still a surprising amount of preperation required, especially when it comes to arranging rides and payments and such. (this was actually a shocker to me, I thought I'd just be expected to show up XD).

This has consumed a great portion of my freetime this week when coupled with artschool (which I actually have to attend tonight as a matter of fact). and so, I will be unable to upload a new comic until next week.

Rest assured all those waiting for the continuation of the ST story (which is coming along surprisingly well), I have most of the comic done for next week,as well as scripts for quite a few weeks afterwards, so hope isn't lost! =D

Maybe I'll post pictures of the prom if you all behave ;P*

*yeah, don't count on it

Another holdup

Terribly sorry again readers, but I've been busy working on my part in Saturn Valley Online, the only up and running EarthBound MMORPG project out!

We were recently interviewed by Cap'n Muffin of Starmen.net's fangames section, the interview can be read here:

http://actur.freehostia.com/SVO/SVO%20Interview.txt

and be sure to check out the SVO Alpha, which goes live on May 1st!

a link can be found in the "links" section of ST, so go check it out, sign up for the forums, and support SVO!

I'll have both last weeks and this weeks comics up this week to compensate, I have them, they just aren't polished like they should be.
